Anjanun was the leader of an army of sandbender tribes who soon decided to attack the city of Laobao in 206 AG. He was killed by Yungyen during the battle.
History[]
Anjanun was born in 159 AG, a member of a large sandbender tribe located in the North of the Si Wong Desert. He took over his tribe as soon as he mastered the art of sandbending, taking them to the middle of the desert where he started his own base of operations. He took half of his tribe and wen't west, taking over many sandbender tribes.
Eventually his tribe became an army of thousands, and from there he began attacking and taking over towns. With the town of Houfuli under their "protection", many other towns and villages followed. Eventually Tum Guon had word that Anjanun and his army would come for Laobao. When Anjanun arrived at Laobao, he was greeted by Yungyen and many of the city's trained citizens.
He managed to destroy most of the command posts and defeat some of Yungyen's fellow guards, before facing the leader herself. He was killed when one of Yungyen's glass tendrils was thrown at him.
Abilities[]
Anjanun was a sandbending master, able to take on an entire sandbender tribe all at once and defeat them. He was able to create sandstorms and travel across sand like waterbenders can on water.
