Chapter 3: A Romantic Picnic
This evening, Mai and I were having a romantic picnic and watching the sunset. Mai sighed.
"Orange is such an awful color," she said. I chuckled.
"You're so beautiful when you hate the world," I told her.
"I don't hate you," she told me.
"I don't hate you too," I said. I closed my eyes and we kissed. We were beginning to get into the kiss when we were interrupted by Azula.
"Zuko, could I have a word with you?" Azula asked. I glared at her. First, she had embarrassed me and Mai. Now, she's interrupting sweet moments.
"Can't you see we're busy?" I asked. I turned to Mai and kissed her to try and make Azula go away. That only fueled her.
"Oh Mai. Ty Lee needs help untangling her braids," Azula said. Mai then left. I was really annoyed with Azula. I could tell that Mai was also annoyed too.
