Story
Edit
Geolda stepped out of the portal and onto a metallic city. Skyscrapers stretching up to the sun surrounded her. Shuttles zoomed along deep roads at breakneck speeds. Geolda took a few steps back to absorb it all.
"Hey," a little boy behind her pointed at two shuttles, "what's that, Mommy?"
Geolda looked over where the boy was pointing. Two men were leaping between shuttles in pursuit of a third shuttle.
With barely a second thought, Geolda hurled herself off the platform. Forming jets out of magic, she propelled herself forward toward the shuttles. She landed on one just as a man in a brown cloak was leaping to another shuttle in front of him. She followed him and he pulled the shuttle down toward a bar.
“They went in here.” A younger man with shoulder-length hair said as the cloaked man left the starship.
“Then, by all means, let’s follow.” He replied as they walked inside.
“Excuse me.” Geolda called out to them.
The two men turned around and looked at her with quizzical looks.
“Yes?” the man in the cloak asked with an accent that made Geolda’s heart skip a few beats.
Geolda cleared her throat and stood up. "I overheard you guys talking and I thought you may need our help."
The younger man laughed. "Thanks, but this is official Jedi business. So just stay out of our way."
Geolda's lips curled down in a frown. She held her hand out and started turning his black cloak into vines.
Immediately, he threw the cloak to the ground. The man Geolda had been following started laughing and Geolda did too. She turned the coat back into fabric. The elder man looked at her.
"Maybe we will need you."
Smiling, Geolda joined them as they walked into the bar.
The Bar
Edit
"Anakin, you go that way." the brown-cloaked man pointed toward his left. "Geolda, you come with me."
The group separated. Geolda followed him deeper into the bar. They sat at a low table.
"You want a drink?" she asked, standing up.
"No thanks, I'm good." he said, looking around the room.
"Okay." She walked over to the bar and ordered a small cocktail. When she came back, the two of them started talking.
"You know, I never got your name."
"Obi-Wan." he stuck out his hand. She shook it.
"Nice to meet you."
"Likewise." He leaned in closer. "So, why exactly were you following me?"
"Well, there's this guy..."
Obi-Wan held out a hand to shush her. "That's our guy."
He stood up and rushed after him, Anakin following close behind. Geolda sighed. She now had to track them down to get them on her side. And maybe, she'd need to see Obi-Wan again.
