The 888th AvatarEdit

I'm going to be inactive for the next week until Friday 29 May due to my school's outdoor education camp. A week of camping, hiking, rock-climbing and abseiling. In the Australian winter. Should be fun.

While I'm absent, don't get too excited about me having to be there to post my opinions on a discussion. Just do whatever needs to be done. Of course, I will be touched if you wait for me though :). However, with my proposal about the page splits, I'd prefer that no-one try to touch or implement that (if it even succeeds) until I return. Anyway, votes are supposed to run for two weeks... Don't get too worried about BSST. The newsletter will, as usual, be released fortnightly, this time on 30 May.

Vaznock Edit

As you've probably seen on my user page, I'm going to be inactive for one week, as I'll be vacationing in Cape Cod, hopefully having the time of my life.

I know I'm leaving quite a bit behind....so let me just rry to cover everything. BTW, I'm going to mention some fanon things, since the wikis are going to merge anyway.

• For the merge discussions, I know there will be one on the distinction between admins and fanonadmins. Basically, I agree with all the things Joey proposed on the forum.....sorry, am I being too boring?

• For the BSST, I won't be able to write the site news, as I've already told 888. I have, however, prepared the weekly Improvement Article, as I've asked 888 if he would be kind enough to take my place as the IAO for the week.

• As for other discussions, such as A-class Article Council discussions, you can just count me out with it isn't too important.

Omnibender Edit

As any of you may have noticed, by activity here has been scarce this week. Due to real life problems and my own criteria of checking edits, my activity here is likely to become less frequent. Mostly due to college, I can no longer fine comb each and every edit (excluding fanon content), like I used to. Article comments in their sheer numbers is also something that makes me cringe a little, but I can't purge those from the recent changes without also purging edits to actual talk pages. In the event my edits here dwindle even more, I hereby ask all sysops to keep up the good work, go through all edits, the usual stuff. I don't mean to sound condescending, but you guys could be a bit more more rigid with blocks and warnings. Going as far back as I could (about 5000 edits), I found vandalism that was simply reverted, yet no warning was given. I can no longer say I enjoy being part of this wiki as much I used to. Water Spout Edit

I will be relatively inactive for a while, so it seems. Second semester is extremely intense. My workload is insane and I need to focus on excelling in my higher level courses, being Math and English. Any extra time I have I'm spending sleeping or working on 3D interface programs for Computer Science.

I will not be totally inactive; I'll likely poke in and make minor edits here and there, but as for IRC and major revamps, I have to hold those off until later when I'm not so busy. I'm sorry for the users who I promised favors, and for holding off my male blog.

The wiki seems in tiptop shape, so I don't think my absence will be that evident anyways. If anything, I'll likely look for other wikis to help with, in terms of spam control and minor edits. Have fun, all.
