What Ā I've noticed is that people just plain straight out say that they don't like the romance instead of saying what they don't like about it. Something I'd like to see is the romance being a result of the main plot and not it's own seperate thing (i.e. Korra going off on Mako because of what he said/Asami kisses Mako because of him trying to help her).Ā
@Nathan. I don't know about the I mean look at BK1 and the backlash that came with it due to romance being one of the 'main' focuses. Many Many ManyĀ fans despised it and believed it ruined Korra and the shippers added fuel to the unecssary fire and made shipping just something many people loathe entirely. Ā
I wouldn't really say that. I think it's just this wiki. The shipping hate didn't start til I got here.Ā
Shipping in general is a controversial subject in nearly all fandoms. I do feel that there has been a ridiculous level of backlash because of the Book 1 shenanigans. How long ago did that end? A year? 2? It's time to let it go.
"(i.e. Korra going off on Mako because of what he said/Asami kisses Mako because of him trying to help her)."
Is this i.e. what you want to see, or i.e. what you don't want to see?
I know what IE means, I was asking whether you were giving examples of things you liked, or disliked, which you answered, so thank you for clarifying. And I would agree with you.
Uhh, I think you posted this in the wrong thread.Ā http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:1189444Ā I'm pretty sure this is the thread you want.
But hey, we got some spirit world going on, those bunnies OMG I love them, and I like how Eska was like "fuck this" and left her father to take care of her brother. And best of all; Korra isn't so much of a bitch anymore~ So overall, sort of an okay episode.Ā
Yeah, but Mako will probably tell Korra that she is too immature to handle things. Ā
I'm fairly sure it was supposed to be a WWII propaganda film.
Also, I wanted to swat Bolin.Ā I never liked Varrick and still don't (I think him being a heel suited that slick, amoral little creep better than being allowed to face-turn in the end); Bolin, by contrast, was a complete darlin' until fame went to his head, which made his behavior jarring.Ā (Don't get me wrong; he continues to be in my top five male characters for at least the show, if not the whole franchise).
