That's right, guys, we're not dead yet! From co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino comes a brand new live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

In an official statement from Bryan Konietzko, he says,

"We’re thrilled for the opportunity to helm this live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We can’t wait to realize Aang’s world as cinematically as we always imagined it to be, and with a culturally appropriate, non-whitewashed cast.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to build upon everyone’s great work on the original animated series and go even deeper into the characters, story, action, and world-building. Netflix is wholly dedicated to manifesting our vision for this retelling, and we’re incredibly gratef…

As some of you may know, a few months back Nickelodeon released their own official HD remaster of Avatar: The Last Airbender, which did not have any problems unofficial fan upscales have had, since presumably the original material was used. It was released on iTunes has the full collection on Bluray listed for $49.99. No other information is present, but it is expected more will be revealed soon. While Bluray is not lossless, it's the closest to RAW footage you will get, and thereby this will be the highest quality possible you can view it in.

I'm definitely buying this- are you? Alternatively, anyone willing to buy this guy a copy of Avatar, feel free to slide into my DMs.

    User Appreciation Month

    December 4, 2017 by FireFerret

Hey all Avatar wiki users! It's been quite a long year, hasn't it? But it's finally come to a close. I wanted to thank everybody who helps and contributes to this wiki, including you, yes you !

So in order to do that, I've created user appreciation month! It's a new user event, think kind of like a combination between the cabbaggies and the user awards (if any of you remember those, if not, don't worry!). In it, each user can write in the comments another user that they appreciate, and something that they did to show appreciation!

As the month progresses, I'll update the list to show who thanks who and why. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be showing your appreciation to your fellow users, so while it might be cool to thank Batman for f…

A kickstarter project to fund The Legend of Korra: Pro-Bending arena boardgame has started. Here's a link to the project, which as of now, half an hour after launch, has about $8.5k of its $25k kickstarter goal promised.

The rules of the game are explained on the kickstarter website, but mainly focusses on using strategic cards to place your characters on the pro-bending board in order to secure a victory for your team, with dynamics that change up as you play the game.

The game stars the Future Industries Fire Ferrets against the White Falls Wolfbats in a pro-bending match taking place during Book 1. Play as the Fire Ferrets, Wolfbats, or upcoming surprise characters who will be announced as the kickstarter progresses. The campaign holds no …

Welcome to a new issue of Avatar Face-Off. Today, we are doing an exciting battle, suggestede by Minnichi herself. Amon against Zaheer. The master bloodbender who could take away a person's bending before his demise and Zaheer, the first airbender to be able to fly since Guru Laghima.
