Nightmares and Daydreams

Located on an uninhabited island in the Fire Nation, the Black Cliffs are a very secluded place. Sokka and his dad chose the Black Cliffs as the rendezvous point for the invasion. The Black Cliffs get their name from the cliffs jutting out to sea. The secluded harbor makes it the perfect place to hide the invasion ships.

Team Avatar camped out on this island in the four days preceding the invasion, during which time that Aang went into a state of frenzied panic when he felt that he was not ready to face the Fire Lord. After many failed attempts to calm Aang's mind, they eventually restored his confidence through a few words of reassurance and by making him a bed of Koala Sheep wool.

On the day of the invasion, the invaders arrived and their leader, Hakoda, described the battle plans to the group. The group then prepared to battle and departed for the Fire Nation Capital.

[edit] Fauna

The Black Cliffs are inhabited by two major animals. Both Koala Sheep and Boar-Q-Pines call the Black Cliffs home.
