I propose renaming the page Planetary calendar room to Planetarium. As it stands, planetary calender room (hereby shortened to PCR for convenience) is rather tedious and doesn't sounds very good when there's a word (planetarium) that suits it just as well. The other reason is really that it sounds more "official" - we are an encyclopaedia, after all. My dictionary defines a planetarium as a "domed building in which stars, planets, and constellations are projected for entertainment and/or education". This is essentially what the PCR is, except the addition of it actually having a calender. Another possible name would be "Calendrical planetarium". Thoughts, comments, arguments, queries? I think yes. PCR is an incredibly long name and it just sort of sounds silly. There's really no need to have such a long name for an article when it can be replaced with one word that means basically the same thing. I agree fully with what you said, as well. —Haybernathy talk 10:34, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
The term "Planetary calendar room" comes directly from both the artbook and, so I don't think you can say that it is more official to use the term planetarium. On that basis, and the fact that "Calendrical planetarium" sounds awkward, I have to oppose this proposal. HAMMEROFTHOR 13:31, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
For the same reasons as HoT, I think the name had better stay the way it is, as the current title is in fact the name of that location. If anything, the other names proposed would be like nicknames, not official terms. Krazykid51 15:49, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

i was going to say i agree, but if it's called PCR on and/or other official sources, then it should stay that. Intelligence4 (wallcontribs)

Had this just been a thing, I might have been in favor of renaming (We use Yon Rha's mother over the Nick site name "Shrewish mother" or whatever it was) - but given that Bryke have used this name as well, I agree with leaving it as is. I agree the name is tedious, but it is official and we must leave it that way. XIII 00:32, June 15, 2013 (UTC)
