Hey, long time no see. Today BK and IGN released news of a figure line for LOK and ATLA, and on top of the already-existing merch I figured it would be time for a creation of a LoK page. So I started doing that, when I remembered the existence of a lot more merch. I figured, there weren't that many toys in LoK, but it still probably could be included to provide information for people looking for news/merch. And, as far as I can tell, there are no pages documenting the general merchandise aside from toys in the series.

So essentially, I propose for the ATLA toyline page to be remade into a general "Merchandise for the Avatar Franchise" (it doesn't have to use the that name)page so we can make note of the other merchandise (eg mouse-pads, shot glasses, t-shirts, etc) that isn't documented on other pages, as well as the new line of Korra merch. Sorry I couldn't think of a better name for the thread. Anyways, thoughts? Fire Pabu Sprite Ferret 03:21, June 26, 2015 (UTC)

Support 100%. I feel that "Avatar franchise merchandise" could fit. Tono555Korra-chao2wall-my contributionsAang Sprite Season 3 04:18, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
Sure, Tono's suggested name seems apt: relatively short and to the point. Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 10:47, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
How about "Franchise merchandise"? "Avatar" seems redundant when a page is hosted on Avatar Wiki. .___. — Hasdi Bravo • 14:06, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
True. Also fine with me. Though with that reasoning, we can even just go with "merchandise", as it is obvious it is about the Avatar franchise. Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 14:17, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
I'm fine with that too. — Hasdi Bravo • 14:40, June 26, 2015 (UTC)
I think we should make titles as short as possible, so as with Lostris, I support naming it merchandise. Duke of  Skibbington Fanon - Wall 21:34, July 5, 2015 (UTC)

On second thought, how much of this "other merchandise" is there? Because if so, it strikes me as a cleaner solution to create a page "Merchandise" and link to other merchandise pages from there, like the toyline page, the comics pages, the DVDs, etc.. Well, there's the upcoming zwyler figure line, all the merch on the nick page, what was sold at SDCC in 2013, (I think I can find a post about that somewhere on my tumblr) the merch bags given away then (depends if we'd want to include that since only 10 people received them), the that was for sale at SDCC 2015, and all the prints that have been made officially available, which we can choose to include or to not include since not all of it was for sale (some was given at autograph events), some of it is made by fanartists which was sold through Gallary Nucleus, etc.. and I'm not sure I'd be personally able to track it all down. A general merchandise page doesn't sound like a bad idea, but we'd probably need to find a way to sort everything out. Fire Pabu Sprite Ferret 21:25, July 16, 2015 (UTC)
Well, that definitely seems to be enough to sport a page on its own, so I stand by my suggestion to group that on a "Merchandise" page, which will then have subsections linking to certain merchandise that have their own pages, similar to the comics page.
