Merging FRS and FFF

Fanon Review Squad and Fanon Fact Finders will be merged into one user group.
Please do not edit this discussion.

A few months back, AvatarRokusGhost proposed this idea to me and I thought it could work. Since then, members of the Fanon Review Squad and Fanon Fact Finders, the latter of which I am the sole member, have decided it would be a good idea unanimously.

This would merge our pages, and all current members of both groups along with it, so all members could now review and interview fanon authors. Thoughts? --Tono555 07:10, December 31, 2018 (UTC)

Well, it comes as no surprise that I support. The portal and the wiki in general may not be as active as they used to be, but there is still a place for both reviews and interviews in the fanon sphere. Reviews evaluate a fanon for writers and readers and interviews provide an opportunity to promote a fanon to the community and to spark conversations related to its writing. I see no reason against this, particularly with the current members all being in agreement. As a point of clarification, would new members be required to do both reviews and interviews, or could they choose to focus on just one? HAMMEROFTHØR (wall) • 19:08, December 31, 2018 (UTC)

Per discussion with the FRS and FFF members, I support this. I think all of us are pretty solid writers who can pull off both reviews and interviews - assuming we have discretion for which we want to offer? Anyway, I'm all for the merge.
