Sections for biographical information which state no further information has been found will be removed. |

This wiki prides itself on the accuracy of its information: we don't state unknowns or add speculation, and if a section is unneeded on a page, we remove it. Additionally, though I cannot find it in the MoS or layout policy, we don't host empty sections on any page.
There does, however, seem to be some confusion surrounding the voice actors and crew pages. It was brought up here by FireFerret; simply put, if we cannot find any more biographical information for a person, then under the heading "biographical information", we state it as such (for an example, have a look at this page).
I am proposing we formalise the rule regarding empty sections, and apply it to real-world people articles. If we cannot find any more information, then we should either use the expand template, or simply cut out the section. On the layout guide, it states – as with all page layouts – that "For voice actors, the following headers, if needed, should be used in order" (bolding mine).
We are being inconsistent with our own rules, and denying our own precedence, which we set, in allowing sections to remain even when they are, for all intents and purposes, empty. Frui (🌹 • 🐝 • 🐝🐝) 19:28, October 4, 2018 (UTC)
- I completely agree, it feels weird and out of place to state that we couldn't find something when we could simply just opt to not include the section. Not to mention we do even have some biographical information before these sentences are added, making it feel inconsistent and on the whole unnecessary. Fire

- I am honestly not that bothered if that section is kept or removed, so if the consensus is to remove the section I won't lose any sleep over it. I do have a few comments however:
- I'm not sure the addition of the Expand template would be necessary. The template states the page should be expanded to include more relevant information, but if the "No further biographical information ..." sentence has been added, that suggests already that all the relevant info has been included
- For pages where there is just a small amount in the biography, it might be better in these cases to just move the information to the introduction
