  2. Immediately, users may vote {{support}}, {{neutral}} or {{oppose}} to this post being featured, providing a reason for their position.
  3. 24 hours after its nomination, if there have been ten votes overall or more and if there is consensus in favour, the blog post will be featured.
  4. If the two conditions above are not met by the 24 hour mark, voting will continue until there are ten votes overall. If there is consensus in favour, the blog post will be featured then.
  5. If voting is still short of ten votes after two weeks, the blog post will not be featured.

All of TAD's demotivational posts

  1. Support Support — TAD and her demotes are just something that this community can't live without anymore. They are incredibly funny and innovative, as she is the only on with such blog post -only natural of course, as she is and will always be the wiki's resident joker. There are so many of her demotes that deserve to be featured, but I chose this one because 1. It was extremely funny and 2. It was the demote that made me start reading all the demotes, so that is just that extra bit of value for me. so let's just get them all featured in one swipe (the idea came from Dc and an IRC convo that followed it :-) ). Her writing style and humor combine into this beauty of a blog post series that is just a must read for everyone. Lady Lostris (talkHotN) 10:08, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  2. Support Support — Need anyone say more. Taddles has brought something new, hilarious, fresh, fun, insert-positive-adjective-here, and wonderful to the wiki. Appa Sprite Rage  Of  Fluffy South_Africa.gif
  3. Support Support — I've said it before and I'll say it again: TAD's standard of writing is just consistently brilliant. The 888th Avatar (talk) 10:33, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  4. Support Support — TAD's demotes are always funny and masterly written. Actually all of them should be featured. ;) Dcasawaang1 (talk) 10:38, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

  6. Support Support — If it were any other candidate, I'd be a little peeved there's only one to choose from right now. It's like a dictatorship where the dictator is a really cool person. Uiop60 (talkcontribs) 11:08, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

  9. Support Support — They make me laugh, every time. Just out of curiosity, what is the pic in the user template? It's too tiny for these old eyes to make out. DesertDog (talk) 11:55, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
It's Katara rallying the Earthbenders at the prison rig :-) Lady Lostris (talkHotN) 11:58, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  10. Support Support — Just because I'm a fan of the blogs... my only gripe with this is that it seems a tad unfair (no pun intended), since it isn't one of the blogs being nominated, but EVERY single one. Easy way to get to featured blog status. Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem 12:22, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
I originally nominated only the demote for 114, but then Dc said they should all be nominated and 888th agreed in IRC when we were saying that, so hence the upgrade to all the blogs. It saves us the time to vote for this over and over again as -to borrow 888th's words- "TAD's standard of writing is just consistently brilliant.", and would have been nominated anyway. Lady Lostris (talkHotN) 13:48, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
So in my mind, should this entire series win, I believe it should only be considered as one blog win, and not 5+, as it would be extremely easy for one to attain featured blogger status, setting a precedent by allowing a series to be nominated and win. Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem 13:59, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
This will count for all the blogs, but I don't really see what's the problem here as there isn't really something to win here. As I understood it, this featured thing works like the A/B class articles, so yours can still be featured as well. Lady Lostris (talkHotN) 14:03, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
That's not the point I'm trying to make here. To put it simply, if TAD's blog series wins, it would be as if 20+ blogs became featured at the same time, instead of just one. Get my drift? Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem 14:06, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
I could've made a long list of her blogs, true, but what's the point of making people vote 22 times i it can be done at once? They are all brilliant and very much deserving of the featured status. Glancing at the raving comments of her blogs, it was a certainty that these would all be featured, doing it like this just saved a lot of time for everyone. Lady Lostris (talkHotN) 14:11, November 4, 2011 (UTC)
  11. Support Support — Oh definitely. Brilliantly thought out and written and something to add humor to your day, even when you're feeling down. The Ultimate Waterbender

Zuko Alone: Possible Allusions to the Book of Genesis?

  1. Support Support — When this blog was written, it was pretty much was destined to be featured. It's insane depth and thought compares the stories of Zuko Alone to that of the Bible, and once again, H-Man Havoc goes over the top with another complex perspective to share with the community. 2. Support Support — When I started reading this blog post I just couldn't stop. It's intriguing, interesting, informative, and even intellectual (alliteration intended). The Ultimate Shipping War!

Support

  1. Support SupportBahjy1's shipping tournament began in September was officially finished two days ago, and I personally think that a competition like this that was well run and well received for almost three months deserves to be a featured post. No matter how long the blog ran, it always made it's way back to the Avatar Wiki hot spots when another round was started, and the community's ultimate ship has finally (and enjoyably) been found. Long live Kataang. BlackMonkey Talk - Rhythm 20:48, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
  2. if I am allowed to vote, Support Support — - Thanks BlackMonkey! I didn't see that one coming! Yeah this one was good, but let the community decide. (still : If I am not allowed to vote, please use the <s> tag) -- 07:32, December 17, 2011 (UTC)
  3. Support Support — It was really fun. Not everything has to be deep with a greater meaning than what's on the surface. Sympathy & Empathy, An Attempt at a Suki Character Analysis, and the "Tokka" friendship's possible relation to the rising Equalist tension

Support

  1. Support Support — Boy, that's a mouthful. Anyways, I'll make this quick. My reasons for nominating this blog are A. It is incredibly deep, well-thought out, and logical, B. It puts the touchy subject of shipping, as well as the Tokka/Sukka subject very nicely and respectfully, something that is very, very difficult, and C. In general, it meets and exceeds the four requirements. With that, I nominate this for featured blog.深层消防怪物 21:16, January 1, 2012 (UTC)

The Wiki from Azulazulazula's Perspective; High points, low points, and apologies

  1. Support Support — I nominate Azulazulazula's blog because it meets all of the requirements a featured blog must meet. While the main idea has been discussed by other users, Azulazulazula's goes in depth and expresses (what I find to be) original ideas. She clearly expresses the good and bad of the wiki in neat, organized sections. Personally, I know the blog made me think if I was guilty of some of the behaviors described on the blog, and I think every user here could benefit form reading it. In conclusion, it is a well-thought out blog that deserves recognition. Necterine411 (talk) Somebody tripped...a Vandal! Twice! 23:49, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

  3. Support Support — A needed wake-up call, and well-written. (PS: Necterine, Azulazulazula is actually a guy...) ~Mysteria Femina~ (wallGirl Genius talk) 05:20, April 10, 2012 (UTC)
  4. Support Support — That's a really good one, for a start; we should have more blog posts like this. Showing each one of ours point of view about AW hierarchy certainly would help improving it for the better. Despite, we shall not confuse hierarchy with well-earned respect, and also with over-estimated point of view opinions and prestige. Each member here should read this, at least to try to control pride and humbleness balance in between the lines of what we post around. (I'm not saying this is something easy to do; I'm not the perfect model of a humble easy-going calm person...) Master Ratava 09:57, April 10, 2012 (UTC)
