Fanon administrators were Avatar Wiki users who were given some, but not all administrator abilities in order to maintain the fanon section of the site. They were considered the most experienced editors of fan fiction on Avatar Wiki.
Fanon administrators were created as a result of the merge between Avatar Wiki and the Avatar Fanon Wiki in June 2009. The group was disbanded as a result of community consensus in February 2012.
Additional abilities

Fanon administrators could:
- Delete pages, page histories, files, etc..
- Rename files.
- Lock (protect) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by users without admin rights.
- Revert bad edits more easily using a "rollback" link.
Fanon administrator tasks Edit
Fanon administrators were regularly expected to:
- Delete pages that the fanon community decided were unwanted, including
- Pages that were obvious spam/vandalism on all areas of the wiki
- Pages marked with the fanon for deletion tag
- Protect fanon pages if required
