[edit] Unnamed Village Girl

While there is not much info about it, I believe I have sufficiently used all bits of info available and made it of actually reasonable length and standards. What does everyone think? The Flash {talk} 17:32, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Support - The article does contain as much info as it possibly could without being redundant. It's also written to a high quality (well, as far as high quality goes for tiny articles). Vaznock - Talk 17:40, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Thanks, but I would not call this tiny at all. It's actually of reasonable length. The Flash {talk} 18:29, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Well, it's tiny compared to the current A-class articles. Vaznock - Talk 00:05, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Neutral - I'm not sure about this article. There are a few passages in there that could use a bit of work on their formality and tone. Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 01:58, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Like.....? It'd be great if you could tell me what to fix, I personally see no issue with this article like most every seems to see, but am open to any repairs at all. The Flash {talk} 01:13, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm a highly critical person by nature, and in my opinion, we as a group need to be much more critical when it comes to these articles that are supposed to be of a high quality. Terms like "snobbish" should be removed. Some sentences don't flow and some are grammatically incorrect. Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 10:40, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Again, what sentences don't flow. Just saying that some do doesn't help me fix it - and there's no other word for "snobbish" unless you can think of one. Please help me out here so I can fix this. The Flash {talk} 15:47, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Oppose - I, too, am very critical when it comes to these types of things. A-Class articles represent the best that we can offer; the best we are able to create as a community. If an article is anything other than this, it should not be promoted. The article has several problems. Look at the first paragraph of the introduction. This is mainly one huge sentence. Try breaking that up. I'll leave a more in-depth review on the article's talk page. --Mattkenn3 Talk 03:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

  • Mattken: This is not a nomination for A-class articles, this is a nomination for B-class articles, which is an entire scale below. Vaznock - Talk 13:42, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
How did I miss that? Anyway, I still oppose. --Mattkenn3 Talk 01:33, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
I've fixed everything, so it should be fine now. The Flash {talk} 03:33, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I support its promotion. The article is well written and all the information is very complete (for that not so well-known character). Dcasawang1 - Talk 01:12, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

If we had a C-Class, I would give it that. I just don't think the article is great. If we are going to give it a title, it should be above average. --Mattkenn3 Talk 01:37, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Do we have C-Class? Dcasawang1 - Talk 01:39, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes. Vaznock - Talk 12:21, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Then I say we have it become a C-Class and with some time and a significant amount of editing, it may be resubmitted for a B-Class promotion. Agreed? --Mattkenn3 Talk 01:50, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't honestly - what's left? I fixed everything you asked, why does everyone seem to, well, hate this article so much? Is it because it's kind of small? If so that's just ridiculous, the prose has been fixed, etc., it should be fine. The Flash {talk} 02:16, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Support ---Nicely done. For all that we know about her and considering she only appeared once and that too in a comic, the page is outstanding.--Avatar Talk 01:48, September 3, 2009 (UTC)
Two supports, one oppose, and one neutral - is that a pass? The Flash {talk} 20:24, October 18, 2009 (UTC)
I would assume so, did anybody change their opinion?--Avatar Talk 01:54, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Architecture in the World of Avatar

This article was rejected to be an A-class article, mainly because of the introduction and some errors in the main content. So, maybe it'll work as a B-class article? I figure that B-class can also refer to larger articles, like this one. Vaznock - Talk 16:15, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I'd be agree with this article, but, like you said, the introduction needs some fixes, even for a B-class article. Dcasawang1 - Talk 01:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Neutral -I don't know, honestly the page is not top-knotch(as in B-class "top-knotch"). I would not exactly call it B-class. It seems alright, but could definetely use work.--Avatar Talk 02:01, September 4, 2009 (UTC)
Neutral - I'm not particularly comfortable with the introduction at this stage. I mean, B-class articles don't have to be top-notch, but we should at least have an introduction that has more than two sentences in my opinion. Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 12:48, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
1 support and 2 neutrals, would that be promotion or..?--Avatar Talk 00:44, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Proposals

My grading system implementation is far from complete yet; don't panic, I haven't forgotten. I still need to make the policy page with a nice colour table to explain the grading system. And I need to make the talk page template. Just to stall random questions and demands on my talk page. :) Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 13:07, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I could make another, somewhat like the first one I had made with the Wikipedia grading sytem. I'll just use ours. Would you like me to? --Mattkenn3 Talk 01:41, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Sure, if you want to. You're the council member; I'm just finishing this job. I might make a few changes to the one you make though. :) Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 14:41, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
