Arctic Hippo

From Avatar Wiki, the Avatar: The Last Airbender database

The Arctic Hippo was not shown in the series. It was mentioned by Sokka in the episode Bato of the Water Tribe. Arctic Hippos live in the Southern Water Tribe in the arctic climate; from its name, it can be assumed that this creature is a cross of a hippo and a polar bear. It is hunted for its blubber as Hakoda and Bato once did in the South Pole.
