	I've recently ran through a whole boat of nostalgia when I came across the re-runs for Avatar. Watching some chapters helped me realize it doesn't matter how old i am, I'll always appreciate the sheer amount of work and creativity that went into the series. The story, animation, voice acting, and originality in the show was monumental (and the music!). I'm a little worried how this will translate into a good movie... emmygreen is right about the characters looking a little glum and serious. The series may have been a little dark, but the lightheartedness of it always evened out the weight of the story. Also, where's the blue color on Aang's head!? And the red of Zuko's scar? It used to be mostly asian and they adding other parts of the world, movies don't copy what they are '''based''' on. plus, its a made up world so even though they look asian and its based on asian stuff, its not like they said the fire nation is chinese! the earth nation is indian! its a made up world so none of the characters would even know what that means. I know this sounds weird and u think im overreacting, but ur kinda being racist. And in the movie the language won't be based on a specific language it will be made up, and they just look glum because they are mug shots or something just for the directors and stuff i think. ==Plot==

The team was on Appa for the third day in a row. Aang knew that they needed to follow Mitros, and he was heading south. Katara asks "Why is Mitros heading out of the Fire Nation?"

Zuko replies swiftly "I don't know, I don't really care, as long as he stays out. I'm tired of fighting the Firefighters every day."

Sokka stares into the horizon and recognizes their area. "We're getting near home! Aang, did we overshoot Mitros?"

"No, Sokka. We've only seen Mitros a few times, and he's always been going in this direction. Plus Appa's getting tired, so they must be too. We need to rest, and I know the place." As the words exited his mouth, the Patola Mountain Range gave Sokka and Katara an idea about what Aang was mentioning, only Zuko said it first.

"We're going to the southern Air Temple? Why there?"

Aang turned to Zuko, "When did you go to the Southern Air Temple?"

"I was hunting you for 2 years before you were released from the iceberg, I had a lot of time to travel and it seemed like a logical choice to hide, since the Fire Nation wouldn't look there."

"Oh. That makes sense. Well, now you'll get the Airbender tour!" Aang turned back towards Appa and snapped the reigns. "Yip Yip!"

Appa flies through the mountain and arrives at the summit of the Temple. "Wow. That was a lot faster than my way to the temple." Zuko noted.

"How did you get up?" Aang asked Zuko.

"Never mind... I never noticed, this place it amazing if you take the time to look at it."

Toph hops off of Appa. "Feels just like any other dirt to me."

Aang turns to look at the group "So, who wants to play Airball with me?" After a few seconds of no response, Aang decided against it. "Anyway, on with the tour!" After showing Zuko the whole temple, the group stopped by the statue of Monk Gyatso. Aang, at the front of the group walked forward and bowed in respect. "Hello, master. I completed my mission, like you would have wanted."

Zuko walks forward "Who is that?"

Aang rises and adds his input into the situation. "The greatest and wisest Airbender to ever live."

Many miles away, on a water tribe ship, Mitros was staring at the same horizon that Sokka did just hours before. Mitros was still mad from his loss just days before. He thought about how he could defeat the Avatar.

The ship's captain arrived in his room. "Master, the Southern Water Tribe is just a few days away. We will arrive on schedule."

For once, Mitros was pleased by the news that was brought to his room, turning towards the captain to show his gratitude. "Good. We need more people in our group; the Avatar and Fire Lord will not go down easily. I will not underestimate them again."

"What did you say our mission was?"

"If you must know, captain, we are arriving in the Southern Water Tribe to recruit more support for our army. The Avatar and Fire Lord have captured many of our brothers and our numbers are no where I want them to be. We will ask Chief Hakoda for more. I have heard word that his wife was killed in a raid by Firebenders, I'm sure he'll oblige."

"I have heard that he is jointly pursuing a peace agreement with the Fire Nation along with Chief Arnook."

"I have taken that into account. I will gain his support." Mitros turned back to stare at the horizon. "One way, or another."

	I've recently ran through a whole boat of nostalgia when I came across the re-runs for Avatar. Watching some chapters helped me realize it doesn't matter how old i am, I'll always appreciate the sheer amount of work and creativity that went into the series. The story, animation, voice acting, and originality in the show was monumental (and the music!). I'm a little worried how this will translate into a good movie... emmygreen is right about the characters looking a little glum and serious. The series may have been a little dark, but the lightheartedness of it always evened out the weight of the story. Also, where's the blue color on Aang's head!? And the red of Zuko's scar? It used to be mostly asian and they adding other parts of the world, movies don't copy what they are '''based''' on. plus, its a made up world so even though they look asian and its based on asian stuff, its not like they said the fire nation is chinese! the earth nation is indian! its a made up world so none of the characters would even know what that means. I know this sounds weird and u think im overreacting, but ur kinda being racist. I wish it could be on like adult swim with shows like Full Metal Alchemist so they could really expand. Okay, this has been suggested before, and I'm going to say now what I said then: Iroh.org has great screenshots but the don't have very many of them for a lot of episodes, especially the early ones. If you ''can'' find a good replacement screenshot from there, go right ahead. But we shouldn't delete a perfectly good screenshot if we can't find a replacement from there. Violentred.net (no www.) is a good place for medium-quality jpg's that don't have the AvatarSpirit logo, and the manager of that site is totally cool with us using her shots. There are JPG files with minimum compression artifacts, when done properly. And some PNG files from external sources are not always a better alternative. Okay I get Geography - it's totally fictitious topographically. Cuisine has overlap into real world - in general menu items are mentioned 'in passing' and usually because they are not prunes but sea prunes which are not real world - Tea, soup etc, is.

The first one, has nothing to do with an edit count. It invloves maintence, fighting spam and vandalism. The other 3 invlove edit counts so they may make others concentrate on their edit count. There seems to be a jump in ''normal'' processes. I appears a imposing and perhaps threatening, certainly dramatic in the sense that this is a wiki and a community (okay, a cyber space community). If I were new, young and timid this would come over as close to tyranny or bullying. Here are some things you may consider if you wish - it's in my own words, as I no longer have the notes and the formalities have perhaps been improved.

Arbitration, I have used and done in the timber trade. Two parties disagree and need a third impartial party to resolve the dispute. What you seem to have missed are some parts of the process. :I will be back in several hours, but I have little time at the moment and I think replying to this is rather important. What we have here as the "Arbitration Committee" is the combination of a normal arbitration committee and a court. Based on the Wikipedia [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee|Arbitration Committee]], it will normally seek to resolve disputes ''only'' after two users have exhausted all other options. The committee members (myself included) will reject any application for a case where it is quite clear that the two users in dispute have not exhausted all options in trying to resolve disputes. You cannot deny that there are few avenues to seek help in between the dispute starting and the committee. That's just a fact of life on wikis.
:The second function is as a court. I've done this so that we can avoid having "Requests for Removal of User Rights" page and avoid the dangers of the community rising up and flaming each other. However, the community (who has elected the committee) has trusted us with not doing this until all options have been exhausted.

However, it is fine to remove them because the template's parameters are difficult to change through the editor - the name of the template must be clicked on and fields must be filled in. Alternatively, the user must switch to the old editor (by clicking a button on the top right) to change template parameters. I've recently been writing a whole lot of policy that I believe really just make sense (it's based off other wikis who have had great success with similar policies) and doesn't really require another long process that wastes everyone's time, especially considering the merger. ::There's a reason why it's default, it's great for newbies. The point of it is to simplify editing for new users so they don't find it overcomplicated and are encouraged to do so, instead of giving up once they see random HTML and wikitext everywhere. The concept is sturdy, and it does more good than harm. For users that don't like it, they can disable it personally, while only new users are offered a new type of editor which uses simple editing. Any extra things caused by it (white space, bugs, or etc) can easily be fixed by another user, and then reported so that it will stop soon. Compared to when it was globally released, the editor has a puny percentage of its original bugs, and the list continues to disappear.
